The sampled were contained observation plot, on surface substrate was taken hand, while those hole with help shovel. data obtained then analyzed Pearson index, association, correlation coefficient. Furthermore, simple linear regression analysis carried out independent variable (x) dependent (y) (Brachyura). results 7 species consisting 6 family Ocypodidae 1 Grapsidae. index at research station moderate high values 1.7-4.0. there 3 associated 2 mangroves found. equation y= 0.2619x + 0.0206 pearson coefficient value (r) 0.79 shows strong independek abundance. conclusion that included medium category significant

Ecomorphology of crabs and swimming crabs (Crustacea Decapoda Brachyura) from coastal ecosystems

Brachyuran crabs are one of the most diverse taxa of crustaceans, occurring in almost all coastal habitats. Due to their high morphological diversification, the authors sought to ascertain the existence of morphological patterns related to the habitat of coastal brachyuran crabs. We analyzed 17 species from mangrove forests, rocky shores, sandy beaches and exclusively aquatic marine/estuarine e...
